Aston Martin develops a three-seat luxury submarine

The Neptune project to create a futuristic underwater vehicle - a joint brainchild of Aston Martin (UK) and Triton Submarines (USA) - is nearing completion. It is expected that at the end of this year, a presentation of the three-seat luxury submarine Neptune Submersible, worth 3.3 million dollars, may take place.

Both companies, before joining their efforts, have already created several models of different vessels. Thus, in August last year, Aston Martin launched the serial production of AM37S high-speed boats, reaching speeds of up to 92 km / h, and Triton Submarines "noted" the no less ambitious underwater vehicle Triton (speed 6 km / h).

The creators of Neptune seem to have foreseen to the smallest detail everything that a comfortable underwater trip depends on. The submarine will be able to dive to a depth of 500 meters, moving at a speed of 9 km / h. A 30 kW battery will last for 12 hours of swimming. The movement is provided by 4 electric motors with a capacity of 5 liters. from. each.

Aston Martin's designers offer potential buyers Neptune models in three styles, each with its own combination of colors and interior finishes.

Visitors to the LYBRA Superyacht Show in Barcelona will see the underwater vehicle this week.
