How to activate "god mode" in Windows 10?

Not all users have a desire to understand all PCs, and even more so to work with hidden functions in Windows. One of these functions is "God mode" in Windows 10. This function was first talked about by Ina Fried, the author of the CNET resource, and she gave it the name GodMode.

The "regime of God" has nothing to do with religion. The name is borrowed from gamers: it denotes a game mode in which the player gains invulnerability. God mode in Windows 10 is a very convenient system for managing your computer and all its settings from one single folder created by the user. All OS functions become available from one place, no need to search for the necessary settings and wander through different folders in search of the desired item.

"God Mode" in Windows 10 is not just a "cool feature", it will make life much easier for not very confident computer users. They don't have to waste time opening dialog boxes and getting into numerous settings. Everything will be at hand, just open the folder.

Now let's move on to the most important question, how to enable the desired function of Windows 10. To activate God mode in Windows 10, you need to do a few simple steps.

How to enable "god mode" in Windows 10

Step 1: Make sure your account has administrator rights, then create an empty folder anywhere.

Step 2: Rename this folder. The directory name should look like this: GodMode. {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}.

Instead of GodMode, you can specify another name, for example, Settings. However, the period, curly braces, and their expression must not change.

Step 3: After renaming, the folder icon will wonderfully transform into a control panel icon. Double click on the folder to launch the control panel.

Note that creating a folder to activate "god mode" will not affect Windows performance. This is just a shortcut for quick access to the complete list of operating system settings.
