Quentin Tarantino chooses favorite films of the year

Quentin Tarantino chooses his favorite films of the year. 2013 will be delayed by almost three more months, and Quentin Tarantino has already begun to summarize. The director of "Django Unchained" named ten of his favorite films, in which there was a place for Noah Baumbach's melodrama "Sweet Francis" and the blockbuster "The Lone Ranger" by Gore Verbinski.

Quentin released the most complete list in January last year, when he announced not only his ten favorite films, which was headed by "Midnight in Paris", but also cited the worst films of 2011 as an example, named the best scripts according to his version and the best directors.

Since the cinematic year isn't over yet, Tarantino named the top ten alphabetically:

"The Conjuring"

"Sweet Francis"

"The lone ranger"

"Before midnight"

"Kick-Ass 2"

"End of the World 2013: Hollywood Style Apocalypse"

"Midday bliss"

"Drinking companions"

Recently, there were rumors that Quentin Tarantino would star as director Roger Corman in a biopic about him, but alas, they remained rumors.

Tarantino himself is now in Macau, where a kind of Chinese analogue of the Oscar is being held. Guests at tonight's ceremony include Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Sam Worthington, Jeremy Irons and Matthew Perry.
