When you have a variety of ways to please yourself, you can do without desserts.
3. THEY NEVER SIT ON STRICT DIETS.
They do not torture themselves with severe restrictions, and therefore they do not have breakdowns. Sometimes it seems that they generally eat whatever they want, and at the same time do not get fat. On the one hand, this is so: they really allow themselves to eat what they want at the moment - even a cake. But since they are not going to go on a diet since Monday, they do not need to gorge themselves today. This means they will eat one bite and stop. Just because right now they don't want it anymore.
4. THEY DO NOT HURRY.
They eat slowly, with feeling, sensibly, in order and certainly with pleasure. They've also read, like us, that a satiety signal is sent to the brain about 20 minutes after you're full. But unlike us, they decided to apply scientific achievements in life.
5. THEY KNOW THEIR NEEDS.
Why do some get fat while others do not? Maybe they eat several times a day in small portions. Or get by with three main meals. They have a hearty breakfast. Or they drink in the morning only a cup of black coffee and only after a couple of hours they remember about food. The point is that they do not blindly follow the advice of eminent nutritionists or fitness gurus, but understand how to eat in order to feel good.
6. THEY EAT ONLY WHEN HUNGRY.
They do not chew for company with friends, colleagues or husband just because they are sitting next to the table and they have nothing to do. For the company they can drink water with lemon, and this is quite enough.
7. THEY CHOOSE “HONEST” PRODUCTS.
Real sugar, whole milk, cottage cheese and yoghurts of normal fat content, butter - all this is much tastier than substitute products. This means you get more pleasure from even a small portion.
8. THEY LOVE TO MOVE.
They walk a lot, or go skiing, or selflessly practice Latin American dances in the evenings (and not necessarily in the company of their own husband). They don't have to spend hours trying to convince themselves to get up and go to the gym. They just found the kind of activity that they like.
9. THEY CAN MANAGE STRESS.
They pound a punching bag, meditate, use breathing techniques, and engage in art therapy. Or just immediately express to the husband everything that hurts, and do not keep emotions inside. Be that as it may, they know how to relieve stress not with a bar of chocolate, but in other (usually more productive) ways.
10. THEY KNOW TO KEEP THEMSELVES IN HANDS.
Yes, no matter how sad it is to realize, but our weight directly depends on the number of calories consumed. And the main secret of slender women is that they know how to take control of the situation in time, when they notice the appearance of even one or two extra pounds. They don't relax even when they get married, have children, or go on a food tour. Thanks to this, they do not allow radical fluctuations in weight, which means that the need for strict diets or exhausting workouts disappears by itself.
