Scientists have found that the life expectancy of a person who did not go on vacation for a long time is less even than that of those who suffer from chronic alcoholism.

There is even such an ailment - the lack of vacation syndrome. It significantly increases the risk of heart disease, strokes, heart attacks, and other serious illnesses. Therefore, even from your favorite work, you need to regularly rest.

Italian workaholic Athos Bagatin hasn't been on vacation for 28 years. Even the trade union was concerned about this fact, which decided to send the worker to forced rest through the courts. The verdict was "harsh" and was not subject to appeal - as many as 900 days of paid leave!

Many vacationers at sea are afraid to swim due to the risk of being attacked by a shark. Studies have shown that only a third of Russians fully enjoy their vacation. On the other hand, 64 percent check their work emails every day, even while on holiday. One in five Russians interrupts their vacation for at least one day because of problems at work.
