Where do you think the most curved street in the world is? If you decide that this is a slum alley on the outskirts of some provincial city, then you are mistaken! In fact, the most curved street in the world can claim to be the most beautiful, and it is located in San Francisco, California.
The street got its name from the fact that on a stretch of only 400 meters, it has 8 sharp turns. This street design was proposed by a certain Karl Henry in 1992 in order to reduce the natural angle (27 ") of the hill through which the street runs. Therefore, only one-way traffic is allowed on it, and the speed is limited to 8 km per hour.
